Check out these fabulous amaryllis I bought from TJ Maxx in December.  (I absolutely love the Maxx..... it's an addiction).  They were bulbs that I planted; I had no idea they would be HUGE!

Fighting the Flu AND Favorite Things

I had the flu and it pretty much knocked me out..... for days!  For the first few days I didn't even have the energy to read a book or look at Pinterest (seriously, now that is sick)!  But the last couple of days recuperating I compiled a list of some of my new favorite things....

My hubby gave me some copper mugs for Christmas and I LOVE them!  So does everyone else. On Christmas Day we had my extended family here for the festivities and we always have a "Christmas punch" or specialty drink. We only had four mugs and the moscow mule was just better in the mugs.  Really, it's true.  So we have since ordered more copper mugs!

Hi Y'all... Happy New Year!

I seem to have technical difficulties a lot but mostly I am just super busy and slack (yes,unfortunately). But 2014 will be different..... ;)) I am going to make at least two new posts a week.  I know... I didn't start the new year with a bang because of some posting problems with the blog.  I got all that figured out and I am getting on track now.  And I'm serious about it this time!
We had a wonderful Christmas and Jackie and I were busy with lots of festivities. I received a new camera that I plan to use to take photos of  parties, recipes, and great ideas!  Let's see how this goes.... the first random pics with my new camera and the last one thrown in from my iphone.  I promise I will get better.

It's time!!!!!! We have worked on this blog (the logo, what, when and where) for almost a year.
Now we are renting a booth at an antique "mall" in the heart of Roswell and it is time to start posting and get creative!  We will have some handmade items for the home, entertaining, furniture, accessories.   Think burlap placemats, wreaths, etc.
We will start getting the booth ready the middle of September and hope to have it up and running by the end of the month.  Jackie has some great pictures of a quick redo she did on her powder room and we will post pictures of some of the items we will be selling in our new space.
And last but not least...... the idea that began this all....... ideas and inspiration for making every day a party!
One foot in front of the other (or maybe not) but we'll get there..... eventually!  Jenna
